IN A STUDIO
In order to magnify these exceptional stallions, he created a concept and a photo studio to be able to obtain his own lights, to decide the staging.
Obviously he can recreate this particular environment with a black background in any place on the planet, regardless of the surface constraints.
WHO I AM
IN 1977, after a childhood spent in Ivory Coast, Patrice Guéritot arrived in France at the age of 16 years old.
During his first years driven by the discovery of Africa, he became aware of his passion for photography and his desire to direct his own photo shoots.
In 1980, he joined the University of Orsay, where he obtained a DEUG (University General Studies Diploma) in animal biology, with an option chosen in scientific photography. Patrice then followed a professional training in advertising photography at the Gobelins School in Paris and in 1983 he did a year of photo reporting for SIRPA. (Press Service of the Ministry of the Armed Forces)
For more than twenty years he has devoted himself to the world of women's and children's magazines, as well as advertising.
From 2005, in the course of a personal research work, he joins Mallock, a friend and artist, in order to prepare together a series of exhibitions.
Passionate about horses from the age of seven, involved in many disciplines such as dressage and show jumping, he was brought to the competition.
His love for horse riding showed in many forms, from mountain hikes to fierce competition through polo ... Instinctively this pushed him to photograph horses in their different universes; nature, circus, races, fantasias, various competitions (dressage) and polo.
